CANVASES
We can now create for you a made to order plastered finish canvas any size you wish up to a maximum of 2.4m length x 1.2m width.
If you have any ideas for a more complex canvas such as boxed edges, a textured finish or larger than the maximum size please put your ideas forward and we will get back to you.
The canvases are created using plasterboard as the base with a 2 coat skim of British Gypsum Multifinish applied on top complete with a polished finish , this is the same standard we would use for interior walls. The plaster thickness will be between 3mm - 5mm
This would be a new option for any artists or arts & crafts hobbyists who want a new medium to work with.
Plaster is very durable, easy to paint over, something you can Carve / Engrave into, and a traditional material used by the old masters, making it a great base and particularly perfect for a fresco or fresco themed painting.
